SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

 

Wednesday 26 September 

Afternoon 

  • Chris Cresswell Memorial Bike Ride - afternoon of 26 September (optional).
    This is now an annual event, in the memory of our colleague and previous NZ ED Conference presenter, Dr Chris Cresswell, whom we lost in 2017.

    His family have identified the Skylight not for profit trust as the charity that anyone interested in making a donation in Chris's memory should consider supporting, whether or not you participate in the bike ride. To make an online donation, click here. We will also have an option to make a donation at the conference.

  • Pre-Conference Dinner at the Brantry restaurant - evening of 26 September (optional).

Thursday 27 September 

  • Wairakei Hot Pools- afternoon of 27 September (optional).
  • Conference dinner at the Millennium Hotel (included in full registration)

    Theme: Transformation and Tin

    We encourage you to ‘transform’ yourself for dinner in order to celebrate this milestone anniversary. Traditionally, ten years is tin/aluminium.

 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Cancellations
All cancellations and amendments must be sent in writing via email to events@acem.org.au. Cancellations received up to and including Wednesday 29 August 2018 will receive a full refund, less a $150.00 administration fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after Thursday 30 August 2018. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without penalty.

Payments
Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card. Accepted credit cards: MasterCard and Visa. All transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Australasian College for Emergency Medicine’. If you are unable to pay by credit card, please contact events@acem.org.au.

Privacy
During the process of registration, the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine will gather and record personal information necessary for your attendance. All personal information is gathered, stored and disseminated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles.

Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) will not cover individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the conference or for theft or damage to belongings.

Liability
Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) accept any responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by delegates in the course of the event. The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) takes responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the conference or associated activities.

Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate. 

Security 
Your payment is processed through eWAY Payment Gateway. eWAY secures all your customer and credit-card data with military-grade software and servers, and the highest level of encryption available. Australasian College for Emergency Medicine will not store or transfer any of your credit card information. All data is transferred using eWAYs secure servers.
